JUST BOUGHT A 03 LANCER ES FOR MY SON. TOOK IT IN FOR BELTS, WATEPUMP, THERMOSTAT AND OIL CHANGE. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. IT HAS 92000 MILES SO BETTER SAFE. AFTER DEALING WITH AIR ISSUES IN THE COOLING SYSTEM, NOW THE SRS LIGHT TURNS ON AND OFF. CHECKER COULDN'T FIND ANY CODES AND TRIED THE BATTERY TRICK. WE'VE HAD THE CAR FOR 3 WEEKS AND NO PROBLEMS, UNTIL THE SHOP WORKED ON MY CAR. I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK 3 TIMES BECAUSE THE LOWER RADIATOR HOSE WAS COLLAPSING AFTER IT COOLED DOWN. THEY SAID THE RADIATOR WAS BLOCKED AND TRIED TO TAKE ME FOR 300 MORE DOLLARS. AFTER TALKING TO THE DEALER HE SAID IT WAS AIR IN THE SYSTEM. I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER SHOP WHERE THEY BLED THE AIR OUT. I WAS CHECKING THE CAR THE NEXT DAY AND NOTICED THE SRS LIGHT TURNING ON AND OFF. ANY IDEAS??? NEED HELP!!! JUST PUT MONEY IN AND CAN'T AFFORD ANYMORE.
