Hello,

I have a 1995 FTO GR 2.0 (non MIVEC) and am having starting problems.

It seems very tempremental, sometimes it will start straight away, other times you can try on & off for an hour before it starts.

I think it could be the starter relay, as sometimes when I go to start I get nothing, and if I pop the bonnet there is a very light ‘tick’ noise which to me sounds like the relay. (Its not enough of a ‘clunk’ noise to be the solenoid).

Can anyone tell me (show me) where the starter relay is located? Also what relay would I need to get to replace it?

Thanks,

Lawrence
