would anybody know if the 88 l300 had those little u-shaped clips in the channel for the window to help guide it in to place. i'll be doing over 70ks and it won't roll all the way up. or is my seals shot and need to replace . i went to the mitsi wrecker and the auto parts shop and they looked at me like i was a ****, am i? cheers howie

G-Day, Normally the problem is caused by the rubber in the front channel inside the door , slipping down or possibly compleatly out of possition and can simply be mooved and glued back into possition, you need to make shore to push it up to meed the top window rubber guide. On later models it could also be that the front chanell has loosened itself , and would need to be realligned and screwed up tight. I know the plastic window alligners you are talking about, I had to wait till I found a wreckers that would let me look around, when I did , they were rare but not imposible to find

You need the window u shape clips. What you are describing is what happens on all l300's over 80kph. Pretty sure they are even available from Mitsubishi too. I got mine at the wreckers and problem solved!
