My FTO has failed on fast idle emmisions had diagnostics done its ok told it has a catalytic adjustment ????

hi, had the same problem,put new cat on it and it still failed ,changed the plugs and oil and it passed

not sure already had service inc oil change, all new plugs inc the back 3 which you wouldnt normally change, also 2 lots of cleaning additive and like I say been on a diagnostic machine which says absolutely nothing wrong with cat or Lambda all doing their job... told it has this adjuster for cat but it needs diagnostic machine which would do a uk car but a breaker box is needed when adjusting to tell ECU its bin done supposedley only takes 30 secs to adjust!
Finding it hard to get good advice on the FTO in general but thanks anyway
