Hi I have a 2004 outlander from the us. I bought it at a dealer in Canada. They assured me that the warranty was fine. I have had warranty work done and now in the middle of more warranty work I am told that canada does not honor warranty of cars from the us regardless of the fact that the car was purchased in good faith from a mitsu dealer.

Any ideas??

Well if the dealership you bought from specifically said the warranty would be honoured wouldnt it fall to them to pay for any warranty work.You bought the car on the dealers word,its not your fault if he was wrong,he said the warranty was fine....thats why you bought it. Perhaps get in touch with some canadian consumer rights group and they might be able tell you specifics about what you can do but i would definetly be going back to where you bought it for them to sort it out.
