Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get a reconditioned starter motor for my Carisma (1996, 1.8 GLXi, manual gearbox). One place I asked told me that the part number I need is ADS1914 and sent me a picture of it. Can anyone confirm if that part number is correct?

Also I was quoted a price of £82 (including delivery) - does that sound reasonable?

Have attached a picture of the part if in case anyone can recognise it just by looking at it!

Thanks,

Hajo

I tried to look through an online version of mitsus part software, but it has the whole starter taken apart and i cant see the part number for the hole thing,Sorry. But that part number you were quoted doesnt look like a mitsubishi one, normally they go MDXXXXX,MRXXXX,MBXXXX but I have seen parts that didnt do this.

if its any help heres the link
online CAPS

and price...i paid 80euro for a reconditioned starter...which is about £50 so it would seem a fair price.
