Do you think mitsubishi will conbine the 3000GT VR4 stuff to the new eclipse in the future?

I don't know but that would be cool to see an AWD twin turbo eclipse. [ 2 ] ** [50.00%]

I keep seeing all of the threads in these forums saying and asking if we could add awd to the newer eclipse and the 3g and also I see a larger amount of people adding turbos to the eclipse. So maybe mitsubishi will get the hint to add them as an option to the new generation of eclipse. but who knows.

thanks for the input!

the reason mitsu dropped the GSX model in 2000 was that only 3% of all eclipses in 99 were ordered/bought with the gsx designation. they didnt see the need to produce the model because they weren't selling. the only way you would get mitsu to do reinstate the awd eclipses is if you could get enough people (by mitsus standards) to "order" the cars and essentially pay for them up front. and then wait for mitsu to produce them. So effectively if mitsu wants to sell 100000 eclipses for the next model year you would probably have to get at least 25 - 30k people willing to put money out for a car that doesnt exist before they would probably put out the car again. and then you would probably have to get enough signitures that would say if the model was released they would be interested in purchasing the car. just to give mitsu potential buyers for future model years.

someone here has a 2g twin turbo eclipse. but that they made themselves.as for combining i dont think that will happen.just how the ralliart 4g eclipse with 400 something hp would never make production and its awd as well.like waynerwats said unless people buy them but they dont.also mitsu teases with models to see if people would be interested and make something happen.but will not produce unless people are serious about getting them.
