I own a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS

And Last month i was lucky enough to have some little punk kids break into my car because one of my drunk buddies left my car door open. Anyway they took off with the faceplate to my alpine stereo and the center console panel that goes around it. Now what they are gonna do with those two parts i have no idea, but i do know i need to get another console panel. does anyeon know were i can find a stock replacement or evern a carbon fiber replacement of any kind for this car? Thanks in advance for any help here.

did you check any junk/salvage yards?? if you look remember to look in avengers and talons also.

can you post a picture? If the part is what i'm thinking of, it isnt that expensive to get from the stealership.

if you goto the dealer to buy one make sure you check with both mitsubishi and Dodge for the part. I dont know about this part but there are a lot of parts if you goto dodge and buy it for a talon esi its cheaper then going to mitsubishi and getting it for an eclipse which is dumb considering you will get the same part from the dodge dealer as you would get from the mitsu dealer. 2 years ago i blew up my timing belt tensioner and idler pulleys in my car and the price was almost half as much at the dodge dealer for the same parts.

Guys i still havent been able to find this piece has been almost a year anyone have any leads?

i was up at a u pull it place last weekend because i needed a ps tensioner pulley. I got one out of an avenger so i know there is at least one up there and a eclipse spyder. if i have the time this weekend i can try to get up there and see if i can get you one.

They took it because it's a pita to find used, and cost like 50 bucks when you finaly find one.

He might still. He asked about one 2 months ago. I never got a chance to get up to look for one.
