Hi seems like it has a different name in each country. I have an ARB catalogue that calls it a Triton?!

Got one lase Tuesday, the V6. Oodles of power, and drives like a dream. Bit of a pain in tbe parking lot though, but that is not why I bought it. To splatter it's sides with mud while using its 4x4 and diff lock, that why I bought it!

Cheers 4 now!

In the UK this is called an L200. We have just bought one with a 2.5 turbo diesel engine and 4 wheel drive. Awesome.

Wow so many different names and versions...
but being a girl i will have to stick my 2 cents in!! :P

@mitsu mirage - in Europe the Mirage does NOT only come in a hatch back, it comes in a coupe and a Saloon aswell, i have had the mirage hatchback and now have the coupe as you can see below hopefully! :D these are pic's of my car taken at shows last year.

So much confusion.

@ GTAti: the mirage sold in uk is just a specced up colt 3dr hatchback

@leesa: the mirage was never sold in europe.ALL mirages, including yours are unofficial imports.

@l200/triton confused peeps:The pickup truck is called l200 in europe and south america, triton in oz,and colt in africa.
In south america they also have a L200 savana,it appears to not be the same as an l200,anyone got info about these??

Hello... I own a 1993 Mitsubishi colt and its a great car to drive. Aftermarket parts are very hard to come by over here though...(UK)... I had to search far and wide for my bodykit. I had to buy my rear bumper from Germany also the side skirts, but front bumpers were almost non existant, so I ended up just getting a lip..
Now though after buying my miss-match of a kit, they seem to have become quite easy to get hold of.. <_< ...NOT AMUSED...
As for headlights and rear light... its a BIG no no... They just dont make them! I'm still looking for some front lights that "might" just fit with a little tweeking... Anybody got any ideas??? Eclipse maybe.. they seem to look a simular shape...

Its possible to de-orange the rear lights if you want,All you have to do is take it off the car, prise open the housing and heat it till the glue that holds the orange bit of plastic in melts and allows it to come free. After this you just reassemble but use a bulb that flashes orange and the rear should look a bit better.

That car was present in the US too! In Japan that was the cyborg at that time. In the US it was called 1,6turbo.

dsmlvr that isn't true.

Firstly the Cyborg isn't a turbo. So it can't be called the 1.6 Turbo in the US. The Cyborg uses a Mivic engine 1.6 and its about 172BHP from memory. Never sold in the UK. Not sure about anywhere else
