I just got back from picking my daughter up at San Fransisco airport. Was a 800 mile round trip. She's home on leave for a few weeks. First time we've gotten to see her since she got back stateside from Iraq last October. All I know is if somebody ever hurt my wife or kids, there's not a hole deep enough, or a rock large enough to hide from me.

No kids for me but I know how you feel. I'm very protective of my girlfriend. Last night she stopped and let some kid on the side of the road use her phone. He was out of gas. I flipped on her, she in no way needs to stop on the side of a country road at 9pm. I don't think she'll do that again. She isn't the smartest but she's pretty. It works out

i understand why you got mad at her, but you really shouldn't get upset at kindness. though kindness is mostoften taken advantage of. thats the sad part. people play the lost/hurt/broke down part and you end up in a cage for some randsom. some people make me sick, but what if that guy was me, or you, wouldn't you want her to stop then?

(especially if it was me, i'd pay her back for stopping, not in cash, but in well..... i don't have to say)

Ok....I just had a nice let off the other day. My buddy has never ridden in my car, (he owns a 99 GSX running 12.8 1/4mile), so I was driving us to Del Taco, and kinda got on it on the way. Stopped at a stop light, and just pulled through the intersection normally when a cop turned on his lights behind me. I pulled over, he asked me if I knew why he pulled me over.
"No, I don't"
"I pulled you over because your license plate lights are out, and for exhaust"
"O....my license plate lights are out?"
"You know...the little lights that light up your license plate"
"Ok....."
he takes me license and registration after harrassing my friend and I, asking us if we've ever gotten any racing violations, or been arrested before. Walks back to the passenger rear of my car, and gets on the radio. Just then, you hear a honda rev itsengine up to redline and dump the clutch, apparently not seeing the cop. And all you can hear is a crappy exhaust and "vvvvvtttEEEEEEEECCCCCC!" The cop runs to my passenger window, throws our stuff on my buddies lap, jumps in his car and takes off.

Honda saved my butt that night. :D Cause I don't have a stock exhaust.
