hi, looking for a 12 volt constant and 12 volt switched feeds for a for a gps install in a 2005 L200, tia for info/colours :)

if i remember right constant should be yellow and switch should be red. and your ground of course is black

hi again, :) i wired in the gps as suggested but now have interference on the radio, so does anyone know of alternative points to tap in for the 12volt constant(not battery) and 12volt ignition feeds? ignition barrel loom? fuse box?, colours and location if possible, (2005 L200 crewcab) tia.

sorry it didn't work for ya man. i cant think of anywhere else to find that stuff but i'm not a tech, i just know how to do decks...... again sorry and hope you find your answer.

easiest solution i to take your feed off the ignition wiring at the base of the steering column.the wires are easy to find due to the larger size and only need a test light or volt meter to identify which is which(as I cannot remember the exact colors)you may need to remove the lower dash trim of applicable on the drivers side but the wires are there usually going horizontily across the dash
