I was wondering is there anyway for me to get a 2003 mishubishi lancer evolution inported to canada and make them street legal? I no its because of where the intercooler sits the car doesn't past the 8km/h crash test. Attached ImageThis is the car i want to import but everyone keeps telling me i can't but i haven't given up yet anyone out there with some good new for me?

If it's not on the list, they will not even consider it:

http://www.riv.ca/english/html/how_to_import.html

What angers me is that they are currently not allowing the 2008 Evo X into Canada if bought in the US, even though Mitsubishi Canada will be selling it. I think it's a conspiracy to continue to overcharge Canadians for vehicles. The Evo X will be between US $29,000 and $36,000 in the US, and everyone seems to be expecting $45K plus here in Canada, even though our currencies are now about equal.

Yeah I'm going through something rough right now myself.

A woman who moved to another country is selling her EVO VIII (pristine condition) for $7500CAD.......wow. (being shipped from the US)
I contacted her just to see if it was legit and got more information, then low and behold I found out I can't do anything at all to make this car legal here.

What an extreme disappointment.
