Hopefully someone can offer and answer for me on this one. I put the AEM cold air intake on my 07 eclipse GT, for 4 months is worked great very noticeable power improvements. However, within the last couple weeks all of a sudden the check engine light has been coming on an staying on until I get the codes cleared. It sets off 6 codes and is causing the car to run rich. The dealership says I need to find out whether there is a AEM program to bypass the codes. So far I havent been able to reach anyone from AEM to give me an answer.

Has anyone else had this problem or know what to do?

Thanks

I doubt AEM has anything l like that, Id check everything to make sure its tight, when your going through your RPMS crazy your motors doing alot and moving a bit, so maybe somethings getting a little loose around the throttle body.

Yeah IM goin to take a good looke at that tomorrow. Its just odd the it started doin this now. The dealer said that its the variable intake code being set off so every time i go over 4000RPM it will set the check engine light off. Yesturday at about 4500 - 5000 RPM the engine started bogging down as if it were out of gas or something anythign below 4000 is fine. Right now Im most worried its going to do damage to the motor running rich or especially to the converter.
