Does anyone know anything about changing the head on a 1996 Eagle Talon ESi w/2.0 engine? (If all that information matters?) And the timing belt- how do you change that? I know I could buy a repair manual but I'd rather not spend anymore money.

Thanks in advance.

Buy the chilton manual, its only like $30 and its worth having pics and what not, doing the timing belt is sort of a big deal and not somthing you want to screw up.

But If you google it you should be able to find step by step, or Just ask in the Eclipse Forum as they are the same cars. :57:

Its not that bad, but if your not 100% comfortable with it, you should leave it up to someone else. Alot things need to be checked and torqued properly to avoid problems. A Chilton manual is helpful, but it is a little general and will probably leave you with some questions. Check on ebay or on Vineet Singh's site, www.manualcd.com. for a dsm specific CD manual which will be better.
