Distance starter, you can start your car from inside your home with the remote, so it warms up while your getting ready.

Mine was 21,000 (before trade-in) for an ES with Nav, Bluetooth and SmartKey. Also, it has body-colored exterior handles and mirrors and alloys. I didn't haggle too much on the price, but that was because I'm only 21 and I don't have too much credit yet. I was happy just to get a brand new car that I could afford and with so much cool stuff including the great Mitsy warranty!

Congrats first of all!!!... Secondly, the price you paid is a bit high. I ended up getting a 09 lancer w/CVT and S&S pkg for $30,800 on-the-road here in Toronto,ON. If it makes you feel better, we both got shafted by Mitsu by paying over $10k more compared to the folks in the US :(
As for insurance, mine went up from $170 to $208/mo

As for the anti-idle bylaw, its same here. In fact this week, the bylaw officers are in full force on cracking down on peeps who idle for than 3mins :sigh:

Enjoy the ride... i wish i had gotten the manual. The cvt is just too noisy and power hungry :o

09 GTS, 5 speed, sun and sound, navi. they sold the car to me for invoice price (yes it's possible) $21,064. After taxes and fees and all that junk it was just over $23k. they also gave me a $500 rebate for trading in my eclipse! woot!

I purchased an '09 GTS, CVT, Sun & Sound, fast key for $21,450 out the door. Though after reading this forum, I think I'll get the splash guards ASAP.

I think I got a pretty good deal, given that I opted for an automatic (I can't drive manual). I'm happy, either way. :D

I didn't get the nav because I'm putting a Pioneer AVIC F in.

HAHAHAHAHA, man, pretty sure out of everyone here, my dealership raped me the most. I own a 08 Lancer DE. Bought it in october, Through financing with no down payment. and when it's all said and done after my 6 years of financing i will have paid just over $30,000!!!!
The actual price tag i think was $21 or $22 thousand.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, i'm laughing so much cause thats the only thing i can do about it. I'd go to the dealer and trade it in but honestly, i LOVE my car and meh, screw it. It's only money.

And as for insurance i'm paying $145/month as a 21 year old.
