I got my ES which in america is a DE for just under $27,000 AUSTRALIAN dollars. didnt really get any good stuff with it. But ill do it up the and it and it will proberly cost me less than what a stock VRX would.

PS - i have spent $500 AUSTRALIAN on a 2008 VRX spoiler for it. dam those spoilers make the car look 100000 times better! WELL WORTH IT!

$27,000? Are you serious? Is that all in with everything (even the spoiler?)

Do you have CVT or manual? I got my VRX Manual, full options with Scuffs, mats, 35% tint, RFosgate + GST and other ORC for $31,000.

2008 Lancer DE 5-Speed manual paid 14,450 nothing too expensive, wanted it that way so that I could tune it up, don't need the extra stuff that's probably just going to get in the way. By the way I got it in Frederick, MD. :57:

21.5 for BLACK GTS CVT - NAV - SUN AND SOUND - Ipod Cable w/ 4.9% 60 months

Tried to get them to include tint - they wouldn't do it - then I asked if I could just have them tint the car for me - wouldn't do that either - just going to do it on my own, but waiting for spring (yes i'll make sure i go to tintprotector.com)

hey man, I got this quote from Lincorp Automotive, Parramatta/Auburn, NSW. It's a full optioned manual though. Has the floor mat's too, pretty much all the useful options.

was about $31,4xx.00, my comprehensive was $1100, so total $32,5xx.00. I sat there for an hour negotiating though.

Their service isn't that good though. the salesman promised me a black full optioned VRX, and delivery in December, but later 2 weeks after signing everything, manager said no, I'll have to wait till March, and that if I want to cancel, I must pay 5% of purchase price.

So I ended up taking the Grey one instead, same options, but got it 2.5 weeks ago.

PS: He was trying to sell me the black VRX Auto, with all the same options (no sunroof, mine doesnt have one either) - $34,xxx.00, so unless the sunroof cost $3,000, I'm pretty sure you should get the dealer to try to match this price.

Cheers

I bought it the first week or two it came out, and I paid $22,064 out the door for the car.
It had 150 miles on it because it had to be picked up from New York and driven to me.

It's a fully loaded Graphite Grey GTS CVT with Sun & Sound Package, Spoiler, Navigation, Sound System, Fast Key...all that good stuff.

Got my Lancer Vr-X CVT Auto in Australia with Rockford Fosgate (No sunroof), window tinting, car alarm, front bumper vinyl sticker, scuff plates, rear parking sensors and car mats included for 34,995.

Pretty damn happy with the price considering all the crap i made them throw in for free.

Well not free, they're still making money off me. It's the ILLUSION of free.

Damn salesmen...
