Hi all, Im a newbie to this forum - thanks to those who set it up.

I have had my 1980 jL200 for a few years. I am looking for a tachometer / sports style instrument cluster for it. Was one ever produced? Did the later models get one? Any advice is appreciated...thanks

They sure did make L200 sports models.
I am rebuiliding / retrofitting a 81 MA L200 ute.
I also looked about for a better instrument cluster. I pulled one from a MD Diesel.
I converted the tacho mech with a petrol drive from a Toyota corolla mech.
Both instrument panels are made by Nippon Denso.
Here is the end product:

The petrol sports models were available in the MB -MD models between '82-'85
They have a silver bar around the writing, but I prefere the plain black and white ones.
