I own a 1996 Lancer 1.3 GLI, with a nice but (in my opinion) too simple look. So I started to look for body parts (bumpers, skirts, spoilers etc).

Someone said something which I really hope it's true. His statement: "You can fit the bumpers, skirts and spoiler from a EVO IV on this Lancer model".

I hope someone can confirm this...

(Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Holland :))

You should be able to fit an evo 4 front bumper if you get front guards too.
Same with the evo 5 one (you need front guards)
the evo 4/5 rear bumper will need 4/5 side skirts, the evo 4/5 boot and rear wing will fit no worries.
Now this is where it gets tricky, if ya want an evo 4 bonnet you should be ok, but if you want an evo 5 bonnet you will need evo 5 headlights & indicators, guards, bumper,
remember the evo 5 has rear flares too these are needed to tie the side skirts and rear bumper together...

Best thing is to come up with what ya want (evo 4 or evo 5 look) and I'll let ya know what fits what..

hope this helps

Well it took some time to save up money for a body kit, but I'm almost done saving :).

I waited replying until the time I was really sure to go and buy a full kit.

Now, my question: What parts do I need to replace to get my 96 lancer modified to a EVO 5 style car (bumpers, lights, anything)
