Hey guys,

I wanna put in either an immobilizer or alarm into my '06 RA (I believe the 06 lancers come with neither?)

Does anyone know any good options at a reasonable price? What do you guys think is more effective anyway - immo or alarm?

i'm in the toronto area, so if anyone knows any regional shops that would be great.

Thanks!

Im from Saskatchewan, so im not quite sure what you guys have in terms of bug name stores there. However, if cost an issue i would recommend getting a CompuStar alarm/starte combo. I paid just over $700 for it from Future Shop, and the guy told me it does have a disabler, however this is unverified. I had looked at getting a VIper system which im almost positive have imobilizers in them, however, if you have manual transmission your looking at an extra $100 to install it. I talked to the guys at Visions, and they quoted me just under $1000 for the Viper system.

Most alarms have the immobilizer built in.
