I had previously posted a thread about my car...

Here is what its doing if anyone can please help...

On the highway going 70mph its running and 2750rpm's a bit over normal i think. Also on downhills it seems to pull or jerk a bit...

PLEASE HELP...

My car is about the same when im going those speeds around 80 mph its almost at 3000 rpms.....is that bad? or normal?

It's normal.. my 99 runs at about 2600 at 70 and 3000 at 80

Well, I guess it is normal then. Now the car is begining to pull on the highway mainly when i let off the accelerator and downhills. What could that be?

Anyone? Im taking a 1500mile trip next week and dont know if I should have this looked at, Im told the fuel filter may need changing?

what do you mean by "pull" like move you from lane to lane? or like the engine loads up? get an alignment

p.s i've been told the fuel filter is in tank and never requires service replacement. also the car would stall too

Yes it is in the tank, sucks. It just does it every now and then though.

but there are no codes in the system? a drivability problem like that should throw some kind of code and give you a starting point. try flushing the fuel system. alot of service places have the machines but there are those fuel addatives that help clean up the fuel system.
