its pretty simple, you mix black car paint and clear coat, then take off your tail lights and spray them layer by layer untill you get it as black as you'd like it.

and thanks guys, i'm glad you like what i did to the whip! :P haha

Looks clean kid, I will debadge mine and get tint, too. The debadging has nothing to do with hiding that it is a Lancer non-turbo; it just looks so much hotter that way.

I wanna know what you guys think cause i just finished installing most of these mods,  -18"x8" Quantum Tek Rims
-6000k HID's in the headlights and foglights
-Custom Paint work on the front grill, and rear view mirrors
-5% Tints
-Debadged Trunk
-Blacked out Tail Lights

^Those are only my exterior mods

Feedback anyone?

I love it. The rims are not my taste, I am going with gun metal Rota Boosts, but the grille is sweet and those tail lights ;) Can you tell me what you painted the grille with? I would like to see the carbon fiber front air splitter to top it off.

haha, i dont know about installing an air splitter, but i am gonna lower it and get a double-din indash tv. I used jet black car paint at my friends body shop, him and i just sprayed it down. i may or may not paint the roof of the car black, im still thinking about it.

Well the summer is almost here so time to startup some new projects :)

I got really tired of that ugly chrome strip on the front. It was an eyesore, and caught my eye everytime. So I went with a flatblack one, from a Lancer DE. I think the front end looks a lot smoother now.

Color-matched sharkfin antenna also arrived today but haven't had a chance to install it yet. Hope its quick and painless.

WORKS springs also arrived last week. I'll probably install these last once I get my winter tires off.

Here you go bro - http://www.visualgarage.com/home.html

Finally got around to installing the antenna yesterday. It wasn't too bad. Just take your time marking down its positioning accurately, then putting down the masking tape. Rest of it was pretty quick. Some pics I took today.

The Canadian Lancers didnt have the satellite radio antenna base back in 2007. They only started that this year. So I have a different base than you US guys. Keep in mind also, the Sharkfin guys are located in Canada, so they must be building these things to Canadian-spec Lancers.

The issue with my non-Sirius antenna was the height. It was pushing up against the inside of the fin. But for you Siruis guys that wont be a problem.

The only problem I can see is width. So if anyone wants to measure the width of their base, I can check if it will fit within the dimensions of the fin. :)
