Kinda looks like Arizona. I lived in Phoenix for a few years, and getting north outta the city showed country like that. Nice plane. How's the mileage?

The mileage is 8 gallons / hour :)

So if I travel an average 120mph, then that means 15 mpg

You're so lucky to do that, i love flying! Here in aus i was with the air force cadets for a while (sounds kinda pansy, but its not hehe) we did weapons training and all the cool kinda things, as well as flying. I'd love to get my pilots license at some time and do it again.

It does, I swear.

The DA-40 DiamondStar Fixed Pitch

When I'm not working on cars, I'm doing this...

Actually, when he's not working on cars, he's breaking into the flight school and stealing their computers, at least that's why he's in jail right now. 4 counts of burglary, and 2 counts of grand theft. You can go to http://www.adasheriff.org/ArrestsReport/wfrmArrestMain.aspx and see his mug shot, arrested on 12/20/2007 at 15:10. What kind of a guy steals all the laptops and headsets from the flight school he's taking lessons at?
His user name is quite applicable: he is Dstrbd.
Here is his mug shot.
