There are "wax as you dry" waxes. I use it on my car and after you wash it, you spray the wax and dry it off with a chamois (shammy? I dunno how to spell it lol). It looks really nice, gives it a glossy look.

Nice rims... did you powdercoat them, or did you buy them like that? Also, how does the car drive around lowered? Does it top out a lot?

how dos the car feel and handle? Are there any problems because I'm thinking about getting that. Does your front end scratch when you go over a speed bump? Basically I want to know if its worth the money, and that there are no problems.

i know a guy that has evo springs so thats 2.0" all around! with 19 by 8.5's and he says he has no rubbing!!

other people have 20's with no rubbing!!

as long as you have the right offset! and you dont go wider than 8.5" then you should be fine!!

My bad if anyone has covered this in this thread, but....

Does the drop VOID your warranty?

I want to lower my GTS, but I dont want any issues w/ Mitsu when I need something done.

if the springs you used to drop ur car caused the damage then yes its gonna void the suspension warranty but it wont affect unrelated parts of the vehicle like your exhaust or transmission or anything. the dealership have to prove that the springs caused the problem.

:liebe011: JaeGTS

I was tossing around the idea of airbaggin my ride the other day instead of doing springs, so I can adjust the height. One of my ppls has it on his Navigator and it gives you the advantages of the slammed look w/o the commitment of always being so low.

Big difference in $$$ compared to a simple spring drop. I have to look more into it and do more research as I will probably have to put a setup together myself. I havent seen one for the Lancer on any site yet.

Either way Springs or AirBaggin, I'll be voidin the ole warranty. :bwekk:

Can any one post a close up of the wheel well of their lancer pre-lowered and post lowered?

I am new to this, but I gotta say I don't see much of a difference in the height of the RRMs, TEINs, etc.

The only ones that I see a noticeable drop on are the Megans.

If the ride is going to be a little ruffer....then just how much are we talking here?
I have been toying around with having this done, but the cars ride is already a little ruff at times & I'm not sure I'll like it.

Does lowing it reduce front end lift & dive?

How much better does it handle over the stock?

Thanks all.
