Could you pls confirm the time and km intervals between the routine service around Europe?

In Greece ie as per Service book should be done every 15,000 km or per year whichever met first.

Talking abt outlander turbo ONLY.

In Hungary the first service is at 7500km it is simple oil change than at every 15000km.
But I always change oil at every 7500km and using 15W50 full syn.

TURBO MITSU well noted with thanks (I also have my cars lubs changed every 7,500) BUT,

I'm just talking about: how often should the car visit the service for the periodic maintenance as per Mitsubishi distributor in other countries than Greece?

Ie in Greece though the service booklet states that the outlander turbo should have oil and filter changed during the first 7,500 km, then during 15,000 km, then every 15,000 km, Mitrubishi Importer enforce all customers to have oil and filter changed every 7,500 (+- 1,500 km) and to visit the service every 6 months (+- 1.5 months), otherwise they kick you out of the guarantee!!!

This enforce is interesting compare to other European country :-)
But can be necessary I think the Outlander Turbo owners using them cars hard many times and with the turbo the oil wearing out....
Later every faster Mitsu and some old diesel engine oil change period was 7500km.

I am from Slovakia and here the maintenance interval is every 15.000 except first oil and oil filter exchange after 7.500 km. If you drive less, the time interval is 18 months I think, but i am not sure.

I see just 2 reasons why greek importer enforces every 7.500 km. The fist one is dirty business and hunger for money. The second one may be relevant to higher temperatures in Greece. You live in shiny and warmer country than rest of EU, so the engine is exposed to higher loads.

However, first read the greek owners manual. If it says that you have to meet the 7.500 km rule, ask EU importer in Holland/Netherlands. If they say that 15.000 km is OK in all EU contries, I would like to see the greek importer :blush-anim-cl: :gunsmilie: .

Kemo well noted with thanks about Slovakia.

As I already ref earlier, the service manual mentions first at 7,500 thence at 15,000 thence every 15,000.
Also the time intervals are clearly stated to be every 12 months.

Furthermore if we consider Greece as hot climates, then what to say about U.A.E / Saudi Arabia etc? Suppose the frequency is not every 2,000 km there???

It should be very useful to have more answers about different Countries so to make a clearer picture.

When I have a better view, I will contact M.M.E for further clarifications.
