I am from Australia and am after info on the GD Galant or similar and in particular on easy brake and engine upgrades.

Down here we had a model called the Sigma in the late 70's early 80's, which was from what I understand a rebadged Galant.

A lot of the parts off this car I believe are similar as well as era cars like the Starion and Scorpion.

Brake and suspension upgrades if you know of any including possible diff replacements would be very much appreciated.

Tha Starions here used 256mm vented front discs, 36mm high, with an 80mm hole on the front. Would I be able to get some stubs from a Starion and do a direct swap, or will this give geometry issues and cause wheel offset problems?

Trev

PS My records show the GD Galant has 229mm diam, 30mm high, 67mm hole.
