Hey guys, do you have to remove the drivers seat and the black panel underneath it to gain access to the spark plugs? i am finding it impossible to change them just through the regular access hole. Any help or pictures would be great. Its a 1994 SH express 4x4. Thanks in advance, james.

Hi James
You should be able to get easy access by lifting the passenger seat & then the drivers seat sometimes the retaining catches are hidden by the carpets

Hi again James
The drivers seat seat & engine cover should hinge up as well there should be a lever on the base of the seat as well as 2 catches on the engine cover sometimes the base of the seat needs to hinge to allow it to clear the steering wheel before the engine cover can open all the way.
Cheers Brandy
ps the passenger side seat & engine cover need to be open first to allow the drivers side to open
hope this helps

Hey thanks for the advice but i figured it out in the end. The drivers seat does not hinge up on mine. You have to remove the drivers seat first, then underneath there is a panel with unbolts to allow access to the right hand side of the motor. Changed the plugs, advanced the timing a bit so hopfully should have a slight power gain. Any other cheap minor mods that can make it more powerful or fuel economical? Cheers, james.
