Hi, thanks for reading.

Recently i have been having problems with my Chariot 2L MX Diesel
94 model...

I have attached a pic where the problem is. The goldish unit is giving out static sparks every 3 seconds (inside the part as i can feel it when you place your hands on top)

Would anyone know what it is. Also every time it sparks it also drains the battery (low power output)

Here we go!
http://indy.pp.ru/GDI/Docs/SPACE_RUNNER_WAGON_91_ENG/
There are two directories here manual and wiring. All relate to the spacewagon or its smaller sibling the spacerunner. There are two manuals for the diesel engines. one has E-W in the title. This is not the one for your engine. The name of the files are unclear but if you download the all you can name them later.
I found these thanks to fellow mitsi owner GEVO who seems to be selflessly hunting for mitsi manuals for which we are all grateful. Once you have these there is no need to buy the ones from ebay unless you have the next model up. I did and then found these ones the same evening bought them. dough!
I think that's it. Hope it solves everything!?
good luck.
