 20" Rims, Can I fit 20" Rims on my 01' Galant

Does anyone know or has done it , if I can fit 20" Rims on my 01' Galant? I know it depends on the tire size. I currently have 18" Rims w/ 40 series tires! How low in series can I go? Will anything rub? Any advise is good...thanks guys!
