My 2005 Endeavor Rear Latch, would first unlock on it's own and now will not unlock. Dealer says it will cost $500. to repair including re-programming the Keys.

Anyone have this experience and any fixes????

Hi,

Before you spend a cent, read the threads on here about re-programing the remotes and the system.

It only works if you have BOTH original keys, the Master and the Valet keys, so if you bought it used and didn't get both originals, the dealer is the only choice.

But if you have both, the instructions are in the manual, and it's very easy.
