the title says it all, is it normal for my 2008 lancer ES 2.0L manual to be at 3000 rpm going only 100km/h

just as an example, my mercedes at 100km/h was rolling at a steady 1600 rpm

3000rpm was just a bit shy of 170 km/h

my old cavalier was going 100km/h at around 2500 rpm

3000 was around 120/130 km/h

Be happy that it is high revving. The higher it revs the sooner you get to mivec heaven. :57:

i assume both cavalier and mercedes both had automatic tranny?

Auto tranny has overdrive so itll rev much lower, had a 01 civic auto tranny and was revving at 3000rpm at 130km/h.

:)

and yes, i started a post for this a few months ago.

its normal
