Sweet thanks for the info!

I'm curious to see how it stacks up against RRM's (well barely an SRI) and Injens CAI (looks like a pain in the **** install for GTS' and looks very suspect driving in bad weather)

I'm liking the price of the Fujita a lot too!

SRI inside the hood. CAI getin cold air somewhere underneath ur car..

CAI would give u (in this case) a tad better performance... the injen CAI claims to give u 10 more HP while the Fujita SRI claims 8 more.

Diff in price between the injen cai and the fujita sri is $100. It'll prolly be harder to install the CAI.

Therefore IMO go with the SRI.

I can live with 2 less HP.

thats just me though :)

thanks soopermark, appreciate the information, and you're right I mean honestly the SRI or CAI are not the things that are going to give anybody a lot of HP just basically a "kick in your step" I know this is probably off-topic but what are other parts that are out for the Lancer that would give me a hefty boost in HP i.e. 15-20 HP more (besides a turbo kids) :gunsmilie:

You can grab the exhaust from RRM (although other manufacturers whould be comin out with more soon). With the exhaust + CAI / SRI you should be up around 12-15 HP according to the dynos, maybe even 18-20HP.

Don't really wanna make my car too loud.. Just needed that extra push.. my subtle upgrade should be fine .. again, thats IMO.

:)

this might be a stupid question, but would this fit on an australian 2008 Lancer VRX? its also a 4B11.

Thanks Mark, damn this thing is gonna cost me AUD$240 (inclusive of postage) to Australia! I hope it's worth it. I'm just worried about the fact that some people say "sucking in hot air"...

I've also found an exhaust dealer that is going to fit an HKS Carbon-Ti kit and a custom extractor to my '08. Will let everyone know how that goes once I get a quote etc next week.
