So i burnt up my motor and got a new one from a supplyer that imports them from japan. and 1 big differance i noticed right off the bat is that the new one has a distributor the old motor has an electronic ignition and the motors are the same year. is there any benifit to having a distributor over the black box that generates the spark? or would the distributor work with the american made ecu? the connectors seem to be the same. do they make ignition upgrades for the distributor type ignition if i went with that? thanks for your help!!!!
