Well I think it's borderline. But it looks like it's in very good condition.

that just pisses me off when someone calls an eclipse a girl car, might be especially cuz i have one but i see a girls car more like a bug

i personally think convertibles are more for girls other than that my bro has a maroon eclipse

i don't know about the whole convertible thing, i love them and really want one. but i've always seen the eclipse as a car for both. (mostly because my best guy and girl friends each drove one) it all depends on the color of it. i think that one comes up a tad on the girlish side. and don't even think about paying 11K for that. not a chance in hell. but don't let my guy/girl opinion from doing what you want, it is that, just an opinion.

I almost bought a 98 spyder then I bought a 3000GT, a guy bought the spyder before I could. Then he drove around and bragged about how he "Stole the car from under my nose" Then I bought a 3000gt.

i wouldn't call it an old person car, but i do think its profile is the least unique of all the G's. thats just my take on it. but i do think that the 3g convertible is probably the best of the eclipses. did they make that one in a GSX, or has that model been discontinued?

Discontinued in 1999, Mitsubishi never made an awd spyder eclipse.

It could go either way. I like the maroon color, but I don't know about tan interior/top. I don't like convertibles that much anyway. They're especially inconvenient here in Upstate NY.

Basically its up to what your kind of car is. i have a 02 3G and i have liked them ever
since they fist came out. I have always had to look for leg room, head room, etc cause
im a pretty tall guy but also its the look of the car and the feel of how it handles when im driving down the road shifting into upper gears and hearing the engine rev up.

The 4G's are too "buggy" for me ....but i will admit that the convertibles look really nice. So whatever Generation you decide on you really wont go wrong because they have their pros and cons.

Also it seems to me after looking into all the Generations that whether you you want an "Old Persons" car or "Womans Car" it all boils down to how you are essentially wanting to"Tune" it. What the spec's will be and how far you want to and can take it.

There is no such think as a girl car or a mans car when you go to the car lot there not divided up. If your car is pink with flowers im going to think its a girl thats driving it. If you like it thats all it matters

I have a 3G & love it. Honestly I didn't at first, but now I'd have to say it's my favourite. I guess it really depends on the person. I'm kindof eyeing the 4G's now, but not so sure just yet...
