I have a 2003 Galant V6 with a O2 sensor malfunction in bank 1 sensor 2. I know bank 1 is on the same side the spark plug 1, but I am not sure which sensor is # 2. Can someone please tell me if sensor 2 is behind the upper intake manifold or underneath the car?

I believe the second sensor is generally the down stream sensor. So this will likely be found under the car. Now this is information is based on the 4cyl model so I suppose it could be completely different on the V6.
