Sorry for the newb question here - I searched but did not find any answers. How much transmission fluid should I use in a 96 4cyl automatic? We just changed the filter and not sure how much new fluid to put in.

It usually takes 4 quarts, but it depends on how much you drained. So fill with three and run the engine and recheck in neutral. just don't drive with low fluid. Then when at full drive around and recheck. Make sure you put the correct ATF type (diamond$$$).
