Wow that looks really cool. Im not sure though, how is it any different or easier than a regular turbo setup? Would you not need to use everything you normally would but mount it in the back? Would this system be easier on your car or more reliable then a front mounted turbo? No intercooler?

Just seen the pictures... Wow, looks like a sick setup. I would like to see someone with an Eclipse running this.

Again, I really don't see this working too well. The air would have to travel way too far.

I think I figuerd it out, measure the airspeed on intake of an N/A moter then measure the airspeed at the tailpipe and I'll bet you have a bit more going out than you do going in!

The temps of course going to be different in vs out so that may part of the reason also compressed air is being shot out the back too! ;)

not exactly mitsu but a friend and i installed an sts turbo kit on his ls1 camaro, it is wicked, very very minimal to no lag at all.  it takes alot to really impress me and this system sure did.  i just got an 03 spyder gt-s, and as soon as funds available im gonna hit them up on what i can do with this car.  just my 3 cents worth. take care.

The 2003 Spyder was never offered in a GT-S trim (nor was it a GS-T trim was you reversed in your profile).

It's either a GS, GT, or GTS (without a hyphen). If you have the GTS, you have very high compression (10:1) and you should probably think twice about boosting as your engine internals will not support anything over 6psi safely.

I found a Turbo System that you can't see if you pop the hood because you can mount this system anywhere on your car.

You guys ain't gonna believe this!!!  :hyper:

this system is simply utilizing the stock turbo kits that the turbo'd diesels have had for quite a few years already. i mean don't get me wrong this idea is brilliant. but they are just advertising the idea as a universal kit rather than a stock kit on a diesel truck. one of my friends called a exhaust suction kit and explained it sucked the exhaust out, thats why it was mounted at the back............i slapped him in the back of the head and told him he was and *****!!!!!!! but it has been on the large diesel trucks of i think it was the ford turbo diesel first, but don't quote me on that.

Great systems & really nice guys to talk to . A few years ago I was going to have this kit put on my old TrailBlazer V8, but it would have cost me around $6K for everything. They didn't have a kit specifically for my ride & the pipe work would have needed to be fabricated.
Only thing that really concerned me about the system is water. The air filter is under the vehicle & you wold def need the filter sock to go on it....but I would still have been worried about water getting in there. Plus living in Chicago....ANY chance of even light snow...they send out the whole fleet & salt the heck out of everything. Don't think that the STS system would fair up to well again it all.
Maybe I am wrong. Still though, a fantastic system.

The intake can be mounted up higher under the hood next to the firewall I may end up with this sytem or an SC system after I do more digging about the piggy back AFC, I read that piggy backs destroy the ecu in the long run I dunno for sure.

This one don't suck it out it has a return system back to the intake section, And I think your freind is wrong turbos compress air into the motor they don't suck air out there has to be presure to get them to do the extra hard work they were designed to do.
