Last Monday i took my car to a garage to have my water pump and timing belt change. Now my car squeals..when its cold. I talked to the service guy who works at the garage he said its my serpentine belt. My belt didn't squeal before i took it too their garage should I be the one who has to pay to have it fix? It wasn't squealing before they worked on it.

If its on the same side as the timing belt, then no you should not have to pay for it since they reinstalled them incorrectly.

The tension just needs to be tighter.
