i guess i haven't really noticed on mine. i only go like 10 miles a day at most and its split up into like 3 different trips. but since i'm modding it i won't even keep track, i'm sure it'll drop down lower with more HP but hey, its worth it to me.

thats is exactly what i have been trying to tell you guys the whole time, "it'll drop down lower with more HP but hey, its worth it to me" , it doesn't matter what kind of performance car you have or what mods you have done on the engine, as long as its designed for performance applications or it has high HP it will use way more gas then a standard car, period. one example of a v8's milege is the Z06 , its roughly 26 mpg, and it has 500 hp! with a weight of only 1400 KG's. most newer v8's will have similar figures also, and its completely unmodded from the factory. my brothers Holden SV8 has 400 hp and does a 12 sec quater from factory, uses about 30mpg . and belive me he drives the pants off it.

i guess it just comes down to preference, like said before apples and oranges, the main reason i like v8's is the sound and from factory power delivery, i guess some turbo's have that too which is great but i just don't like the style of them, IMO very girly , but i see why some people drive them, i just hate hearing people say "my cars a 4 or six turbo so its gotta be faster and cheaper to drive then your v8...." its so idiotic, there are too many variables to consider, and like you guys have seen most of the turboed cars out there will use just as much fuel as most v8's, that shouldnt even be brought into the discussion, if you want really good performance then you will have to compromise in some area period, there is ALWAYS a compromise..... and now alsoi wanted to mention to you guys (if you didnt already know) there is a way of getting your car to run on water, i know sounds crazy but look it up, through electrolysis you turn water into 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen (has many names but most call it HHO), i dont have the time right now to fully explain but do some research on it, its amazing! and btw i have been running my car and many other cars on it now for months with fantastic results! its 3x more powerful then gasoline and its the cleanest type of fuel.... no carbon build ups on plugs or valves, emits only water vapor, out of 1 gallon of water you get roughly 1800 gallons of HHO gas! anyways hope all you guys well and talk to you again in the future! :57:

the last race in the fast and the furious? are you kidding me? you do know that was a total and completely setup script right? the supra they used was easily in the top 10 seconds range and the charger they used was rated at only 13's even with the slicks. they also weighted down the back to make it hop wheelies for the race.

and then to top it off you use a example of a M1A1 Abrams tank. dude i used to help my the track mechanics change out the track pads on those things as i used to be a heavy wheeled mechanic in the active Army. first off thats a bad example as the abrams tank is only set up for rotational power and a jet is setup for burning thrust power. also they use 2 completely different fuels. the tank uses the cheapest version of diesel fuel the military can find. while the jet uses a super high octane jet fuel. its somewhere around 125 octane.

and if no one else is going to bring them up then i will. v6, v8? what about the straight 6's and the straight 8's? the best 8 cylinder engine out there in regards from size to hp/torque output is a cummin's diesel (i don't even like dodge but those cummins motors are fricken sweeeeeeet)

now on to the 6 the best 6 cylinder motor in regards from size to hp/torque output is know by possibly everyone who is into import cars. as the most powerful i6 is a japan motor some say its toyota's thats in the supra some say its nissans thats in the skyline. i'll leave that up to you to decide. although bmw, mercedes bensopal, and volvo put out some of the best inline 6 motors in europe they come in a distant third to the 2 jap spec motors. but to think a v6 will ever be better than a i6 is a childish dream. the same goes for the v8 verse the i8.

its quite simple really no matter the size you take a V motor verse the same size I motor and your going to get more power out or if. you can run a higher rpm in a i6 than a v6 even though they are naturally governed at a lower redline because they are perfectly balanced without a balancing weight because the two opposing sides are mirror images where one shaft is toped out the other is bottomed out. getting a decent i6 isn't hard where a might be tricky v6 are tricky. an i6 crank shaft **** near lasts forever when a v6 wears, tears, and breaks down. ever wonder why Toyota has the longest lasting 300,000 mile club along most of their European, and Japanese cars? it is because they use the inline 6 and inline 4 cylinders for this reason.

so not only do the inline engines have generally more torque and hp, but they also have a lasting record of durability with common tune up intervals. its the only kind of engine that most high industrial vehicles use. locomotive engines, are inline motors, oil tankers, inline motors. giant geneva rock trucks, inline motors. the only positive about V motors is you can put a giant displacement motor in a small engine compartment. but putting a huge motor is not always the best because larger engines means more weight. you can put a 350 big block V8 in a Pontiac Fiero but not have enough room for anything else. you can also put in a turbo V6 which will put out the same amount of power. but thats the V motor when your dealing with space issues.

inline 4's, 6's, and 8's are more powerful i bet if dodge threw a srt turbo on a inline 8 in their viper instead of the v10. they wouldn't be holding second in american sports cars to the n/a corvette Z06. thats pretty sad when you have a turbocharged v10 with less HP than a n/a V8 don't you think? especially since the v8 is of a smaller liter than the v10, just pathetic if you think about it.
