As many of you may or may not know, I work at Barnes and Noble. Each Saturday night, a group of tuners/ricers gather in the B&N parking lot and do... whatever. Ive seen them challenge other cars at the stoplight in front of B&N, but for the most part they just stand around and talk. So me and a friend had just gotten off work, and we were talking about cars and such, and he asks me to pop the hood of my GSX so he can hear the engine/turbo. Im sitting there revving my engine in the middle of the lot with those other car guys atone corner, and out of nowhere this modded black and green CRX comes up from behind me, drives full-circle around the GSX, then stops right next to my door to chat about it. He used to own one, and gave me some pointers about modding the turbo DSMs. Cool guy. After talking for a few minutes, he drives off, and as he gets on the road, he does a massive FWD burnout in his little CRX. I didnt see any smoke from his tires, but it was impressive nonetheless. I guess the point of the story is that I have never owned a car in my life that attracts as much attention as this GSX. Im still getting used to it all.

Coincidentally, the GSX is by far my favorite vehicle i have owned in my life! its so good it has to be fattening! :gunsmilie:

Attracting all the attention is a double edged sword of sorts lol. I've been pulled over by cops before while driving my '65 Mustang, just so they could check out the car to see what I've done to it, and to ask how quick it is. One cop claimed he just stopped me to check it out because he was building one himself and was looking for ideas. The GSX and TSI are definetly attention getters, and also seem to be somewhat intimidating to ricers in the know. I always seem to get stock Honda's with fart cans trying to start races with me whenever I'm driving my slow, stock '82 280ZX around town. I've been driving the Talon around for about 4 months and have yet to have anybody, other than 1 redneck in a fullsize diesel truck, try to start anything on the street against it lol.

Without looking at a map I couldn't tell you. I live about 40 miles from Klamath Falls.

Ok that'd be about a 5-5 1/2 hour drive from here depending on road conditions. I'm basically at the opposite corner of the state diagonally.
