Thanks to those of you who sorted out a few things for me. The more I looked at options and such, the more I decided I wanted *this* car. So all considered, I'm going for a Lancer over a Civic, and a GTS instead of an ES. The price difference with options is only about 1400 on my end, and the safety features, plus the fact that the Civic is so much more expensive to make like a Lancer, and a little ho hum without mods is a big kicker. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, and though Im not a total gearhead, I'll be watching the boards when i can.

Haha. Im on the other end of the spectrum, in Texas. Just moved down here and love the weather. But Im gonna have to swing back up there. Visited about 2 years ago, and loved it. Good clubs, good people. Good times gettin FUBARed all damn night for ten solid evenings. Maybe I'll bring the Lancer next year and look ya up. We can go tear some roads up.

No, that's my next conundrum. LOL. I like the blue, but also the red, and can't hate black. So I guess it's just gonna be whichever of those I pick at the time. Ha!

i agree on the blue i wanted it so bad...but when i found out all the lights inside are red and cant be changed...(yet?) i had to go with the red...but i def think black looks sexy too really any color you get is gonna be good (other then tha aqua and sand..lol :P )

I'll agree with you on that. Red lights? Kinda weird IMHO. Aqua looks like seafoam ****, but to be honest Ive seen the GTS in sand and it aint bad. Just nothin sporty. But I guess if you're a 40 year old business man who cant afford your vette, but are too damn contemporary to feel young, then that'd work. Ha!

i saw a blue VRX being prepared to be picked up that day and gotta say i almost jumped into it and drove it away myself (if it werent for no keys for it damn it!!) but yeah blue is very very very VERY OMFG VERY hot...as for red i saw one in the dealership as well and also a very nice colour...as for black...if you dont mind washing it every time a bit of dirt gets on it or worryin bout swirl marks or that kinda stuff its undoubtedly the best colour (in my opinion) of the lancer colours but id still go blue :P

blue is good but if your peticular about things matching like i am...your not gonna be happy..
