Okay so I asked if people would buy the evo x for 42K when you can get a 350z for 27k. So here is my next question. The ralliart lancer has a 2.4L turbo engine and is awd with a price tag of 25k. It reportedly has 230hp compared to the evo's 280hp. Would you spend the extra 17k on the evo?

i believe that the evo X will have 300hp. If you are talking about buying a car that is in the range of $30,000. I might get the Lexus IS350 or the Infiniti G37, they are both in the $30,000.

I think the ralliart will end up with like 180hp at the wheels, and looks just like the GTS with dual exhuast, and a weak turbo??

First there will be a front-wheel-drive model with a 2.4-liter inline-4 dubbed either Lancer GST or Lancer Ralliart. Then there will be the all-wheel-drive Evolution X (perhaps with as much as 320 hp). And finally something between the two that will be positioned against the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX, which we believe will be an all-wheel-drive Lancer GSX with an inline-4 boosted to 250 hp with a light-pressure turbo.

I have heard what drakos4eva said about the ralliart everywhere. The hp is between 225-250 hp and the price tag at 24-26K with awd. It is specifically being created to compete with the non sti wrx so the awd, the price and the hp figures all make sense.

all i hope is that it looks like awesome (and if the new lancers are anything to go by omg :P) and it performs, mainly in the acceleration meh if i could care about cornering lol, and overall is relitively cheap car. All that being said...I WANT ONE! :P
