I'm doing a stock conversion, so internal.

And stateside we use Supra pumps.

500+ turbos are usually TD05 and I believe the oil locations are different.

The main problem is the turbos hang way lower than the stock TD04's and they need a bigger oil return line for a gravity feed since there is no oil pressure on the return side.
If the line does not have somewhat of a downward angle going into the oil pan, oil will pull up in the line and not return to the oil pan fast enough, usually resulting in some heavy smoke and potentially more severe problems.
For really big turbos, we usually weld shut the stock return location on the oil pan and make a newer one lower down on the oil pan to ensure there are no problems.

The only parts I am having issues finding a seller for are.... TT transmission bracket, Electronics (AFC/ Boost control and gauge)

yup. The time is soon!

Although I am utterly confused about the whole ECU thing.

I'm giving toddrs93 a call tomorrow. Got a couple questions man.

I really need to figure this out. Guys keep your eyes open for a Fuel Controller.

Whats up with the diagnosis port?

heres a few shots of my FMIC set up, the 1st one is the Y pipe conversion, you can see where it goes under the stock oil cooler, I had these welded to to the inlet FMIC pipe to eliminate joints the same on the outlet side too, also I have made brackets to support them, if these blow off it would be a pita to put back on!
The FMIC installed is 300x600x76mm bar and plate originally with 9b's now 13g's, pipework is 2.5 inch, I have used alloy bends welded and not elbows (red elbow was for set puposes) for better air flow any joints are butt joints with straight silicone couplers.

So are you going to run the intercooler with the steel tube bumper also or are you leaving it off?
Thats a **** big front mount, I usually use smaller ones, lol.

Thats not my car.

I think I'm stuck with the sidemounts for a while.

PM me if you can beat 3SX pricing of 200 for the oil feed and return line kit. and 160 for the coolant kit.

Gotta buy gaskets, custom SS oil lines, and then I just need to wait for everything to arrive at my house.

May 3rd looks like the day I will be pulling the motor out.

Scratch the gaskets, just need to go home and measure the oil lines and send that information to ATP.

So I'm dragging my feet buying the last couple things. I really need to sit down this weekend and get my *** in organized.

On another note, I installed the 93 shifter, about an inch shorter then the 91 - 92 style, I like it.

Pulled my intake off and dropped the cat back last night.

My list of things to be accomplished this weekend.

Pick up my friends truck and his engine stand.
KFC snackers meal SO GOOD!!! :P
Get the car on jack stands.
Line up the TT down pipe with the NA and mark where the O2 Sensor bung goes.
Drop the remainder of the exhaust.
Take bumper and headlights off.
Take DP and front 02 housing to welder to weld 2 02 sensors and an EGT bung
Take the Engine hoist.
Take motor out
Return engine hoist.

Seems like a good weekend to me.

Next week I plan on cleaning up the engine bay and other misc parts that got covered in oil back when my oil pump exploded.

I'm still waiting on parts but with the motor out I'll be forced to go and buy these stupid little things and get this project over with.

Pics to come.

Alright the motor is still in the car because I ran out of time and then on sunday I was in no condition to work on the car.

Last night I went to swap the fuel pump and realized the NA and the turbo assemblies are different... I feel like an idi0t but what ever they are easy enough to find.
