yes on the alpine amps. i believe they are cea 2006 rated so they have to do thier rated power. as for pioneer subs  meh... they are ok starter subs i guess.
whats your budguet? how much space do you have?

Hi phil306

My budget is upto 500$-600$.. and i dont want to put 2 subs.. i stay in australia and here i have mostly seen alpine, pinoeer, caliron, xtreme systems...

any idea what would be the best option in this budget....

i have ES version, which has 4 speakers. are these factory fitted speakers low powered as compared to there ratings ??

Thanks in advance
tama

ok a few more questions. im not familiar with your car. could you get max deminsions on where you box would be?
is the 500-600 for everything(HU, subs amps speaker if you want new ones) or just subs?
can you give a list of brand you do have access too.
and what kind of sound are you looking for?
just plain loud? or sound quality?

i went with a decent build for a decent price about 1070.00 altogether for a memphis car audio class d pr1.500 and two 2x12 inch memphis PR12D4's....the amp can kick 600watts but the two subs kick 500max but its loud as shit...i went with an alpine CDA-9884 head and i have to say when i leave the subs at +15 bass at -3 and treb at plus 7 it bumps!!.....only problem is getting pulled over and people that drive around me say it shakes there car....especially when there behind my car haha... but if ur lookin for a 500 to 600 build just get a small amp and like one 8 to 12 inch ...it shouldnt be too expensive if your not trying to push big sound...

Sounds like you may have paid a little much but sounds like a solid system. As for the recreation of the sub box that comes in the gts.
