You will find it cheaper and you might not actually need everything the dealer said. Just bring your car and ask them to check it out. Midas does it for free.

And Spar... is right I just didn't feel the need to get into it because he has a turbo car.

No, its the same car without a turbo.

A 1991 gs has 140hp,140tq. It is a 2.0 n/a. 4cyl.
The GST has 210hp,205tq. It is a 2.0 Turbo 4cyl.

There is no way that anyone should run over a 15 in a GST if I can run 14.9 in my old **** 1g eclipse GS.

The timeslip on the left is from my 1992 Chevy Beretta GTZ, the slip on the right is from my 1991 Eclipse GS

weird, those seem too fast for the numbers. a 140HP running a 14.9 when the other dude runs a 16.7 in his 210 HP car. what gives????

not saying i don't believe you, cuz you got the slips to prove it, but thats quite a jump and some odd numbers.....

No.

Just hit control F and type Mitsubishi then find the car you want.

But for some reason the older the car the higher the number so I would believe your time in your 91 only because I know they rated the 1991 VR4 at 14.8

QUOTE(Lewiman06 @ Dec 19 2007, 07:16 PM)
the people there will tell you you can't find it cheaper, but you can probably find it a lot cheaper.
*

Oh yeah, He told me straight up that I can find the parts cheaper. I worked there like a year ago so they hook me up a little. I know I can do better, was the first time to the track in that car so didnt expect to do great. I leave January 22 to boot camp so I probably wont go to firebird again till I get back in 10 months. I am hoping to come back to a little cash so I plan on dumping most of the money I come home to in the Eclipse. Might not be all performance like I wanted originally but repairs to the car also.
