as ugly as an 86 corolla is, its RWD and has serious potential. IF u can find one, you're probably gonna pay up to $8K for a decent one. from what i'm told theres just some problems with the engine wiring harness, but the body is in perfect condition.

hahaha, i haven't bought it just yet. i'm going to see it this weekend. the good thing about it is, its so ugly i won't waste money on cosmetics for it. i don't think theyd help anyways  . this way i can focus more on speed. and unlike my ralliart, the corolla has alot of support from the aftermarket. and plenty of JDM goods. i won't put a dime in it until i turbo my ralliart though.
VVVVVVVVVfor those who have never seen an 86 corollaVVVVVVVV

well right now its just an idea. i've been spending every spare dime on my ralliart and i'd hate to get pre-occupied with another project. but its such a rare find that i owe it to myself to check it out. and a part of me wants me to fall in love with it and buy it. i guess we'll see.the last car i was wanting to buy was a GSX and took everything i had to not go look at it because i KNEW i would spend my whole bankroll on it if i saw it.

if i don't i'd be more than happy to pass the offer along to anyone in the houston area. its my buddy's sons' car, and i'd hate for it to waste away in a garage

Slim, if you do not buy this car I will smack you. Steal your money and buy it for you.

To everyone who doesn't know the potential of this car.

Imagine an 1800 pound rear wheel drive car with 400 HP to the rear wheels.

Now picture a chimp driving it sideways.

Look at all the import magazines and atleast one of them will have an AE86 in it.
