Please can anyone help . My L200 is blowing the crankshaft oil seal out and loosing oil iut of the front of the ngine instantly the engine is cranked . Any help appreciated Im at my wits end with this . Checked oil filter clear and engine breather . Seems excessive iol pressure is blowing the seal out for some reason . Have searched everywhere but never found this fault. If its terminal can anyone suggest where to get an import/recconditioned engine . Could a bust piston allow the crank area to pressurise? Was only travelling at 50 on moterway when this happened.

Thanks

Andy

When my oil pump blew up it shot a small piece (smallish) of metal through the seal. Even if I put a new seal in it would have still leaked because of part of the pump missing.

You may need a new oil pump.

You may just have to put the new seal in harder.

Did you rub oil all over the new seal before inserting?
