I friend of mine has a 97 eclipse and has told me not to mess with aftermarket headlights for eclipse's. He said it was way more trouble than it was worth with his. Something about having to almost take the whole front end off to change them. I was wondering if the same would apply to our 3g cars as his 2g.

do what? i dont understand the question. there are projector headlights for the 3G. all you have to do is take your stock headlight housing out and put the new headlight housing in. simple plug and play. i dont know about the problems with the 2Gs though

Anyone know a way to clean those damn 3g headlights, they get dusty as hell and other than taking it apart dont see any other option. I think that is one major complaint among 3g owners.

you can drop soapy water in it and shake it around. you could probably find something that will fit into the hole so you can scrub it. but make sure you let it dry thoroughly

My girlfriend has a 2003 Eclipse GS and wants the bright, bluish hue headlights for her car. Are these the projection lights? If so, where do I get them? Thanks

ok....the color comes from the headlights and the brightness comes from the housing. you can go to www.xtremevision.biz and buy headlights. they are really cheap and they last a while. ive had mine for about 8 months now and ive only had 1 foglight go out. PIAA sells the lights for like $80 a pair. The lights i have are $18 a pair.

I had the PIAA for like 3 months before they burned out, so i decided to try something different. ive had the xtremevision ever since

You need H4 for headlights and H1 for foglights(if you have foglights)

She doesn't have foglights but I want to add them for her. After the headlights, that will probably be my next project for her car.

So I just need to get new H4 bulbs for the headlights then?
