i have a 98 eclipse gs automatic. what r a few ways i can improve my performance for the lowest cost?

intake, header, exhaust.

-Buy a cheap intake pipe off of ebay, and just get a K&N filter instead of the junk that comes with the pipe.
-Buy a used header for cheap. (pacesetter, greddy, dc sports)
-Buy a cheap exhaust off of ebay, or a used one.

The reason i suggest cheap, and or used parts is because for what little gains these parts produce, you should spend as little money as possible. There's nothing worse than paying 800 dollars for an exhasut that frees up 3-5 h/p, when a cheapo from ebay frees up the same amouny but for a fraction of the price. Be smart;)

Neither. You'd be paying for the name. A pipe is a pipe, so buy one off of ebay, and get a good filter for example K&N. Same gains for 1/4 the price equalls a smart mod in my book. :thumbsup:

you wont notice very much with those mods sorry to sound like an **** but thats what i did and did not notice very much on mine thats why i will be going turbo next year pending all goes ok.

That's fine, but he said for the lowest cost. I had those mods done to my old rs and i barely noticed a difference also. Then i bought a gs-t. A whole new world.

Ha, there really isn't one. After you get everything together, and running, something else will break. It's part of going turbo.

got to hahnracecraft that the best you colud find but its worth the price.
