I hate to burst your bubble, but he wasn't trying. I used to own a lightly modded RS and that thing couldn't get out of it's own way.

Anyone else notice he keeps saying they get him off the line? Sounds to me like they are just flexing their muscles enough to show him they could blow him away, then back out of it before he can even make into 3rd gear, at which time he finally pulls on them lol. Most likely they are just letting him go because they know what they have, and don't feel the need to prove anything to themselves. I'll do that sometimes, just jump on it long enough to make a statement like 1st and 2nd gear, get em by a few cars then back off to avoid the ticket and let the young kids/fools go by.lol

I drive an RS and have also driven the exact car you mentioned... I just do not see it happening. Even though BMWs are my favorite cars, an RS just is not going to win. I think he was just taking off on you then backed off... he was just seeing if you had a GSX ;)

Considering a stock RS will do about a 16.5 in the 1/4, and a Bimmer will do about a 14-15, I dont see it happening.

I call the BS unless you can show me a slip at a strip.

The whole 4th gear thing is off, if anything, you'd get him in first or second. That's only if he slipped up. There is always the possibility of him being a sucky sucky driver. I have an RS and as much as I want it to be fast, it's not, but it will beat a my dad's 2000 camry. Just accept reality.

And all i have done to it is a 2.5 exhaust spark plugs and a new re-programmed ecu system. but what ever ill just take it to the track and see what it pulls and then ill post up my numbers ill do a video instead so you all dont think i photoshopped pictures knowing how you all talk and act about shi**
