Drives: 1996 Mitsubishi GTO MR and 2001 Supra RZ.
I don't know exactly what this warning light means, but i believe its the radiator warning light. I have search the net for help, but everything i find has this single light omitted.

Any help will be appreciated as I'm not 100% sure what it is. Its located in the center cluster of lights, down in the last row and to the right.

My GTO is a private import and it didn't come with an owner's manual. Tried searching the net for one but found nothing. Managed to download the service manuals for the GTO, but that didn't really solve anything.

Is it meant to always be on? Is there a button that will allow me to toggle it on and off? Can't really find anything in the dash that looks similar though. But I am pretty sure that my GTO MR, doesn't come with an active exhaust system, as it also lacks a lot of other "optional" bits that were removed to lighten the car, like ABS and all-wheel-steering.

But whatever it is, it looks to me that it seems to be overheating thats why I assumed it was the radiator.

It means your catalytic converter is overheating.

It could be on because you cat is actually overheating or because the EGT sensor, which is located right after your cat is faulty.

When looking at your exhaust you'll see to sensors. The first one is you 02 sensor, then you'll have your cat (no precats like the USDM cars) and then the sensor. that is your EGT sensor (Exhaust Gas Temp)
